Ayah is a daily Quran app for iPhone. The short version: we don’t ask who you are, we don’t track you, and what you write in the app stays on your phone.
What we collect
Nothing. Ayah has no account, no sign-in, no analytics, no ads and no third-party tracking tools.
What stays on your phone
To work, the app saves a few things on your iPhone only:
- what brings you to the app (the intention you pick when you start)
- your reminder time and whether reminders are on
- the verses you save and the private notes you write
- your streak and how many days you’ve read
- whether you have Ayah Plus, so the widgets know what to show
This is never sent to us. It’s shared only between the app and its own widgets on your device. If your iPhone is backed up to iCloud or a computer, Apple’s backup may include it, under your Apple account’s settings. Deleting the app deletes it.
Reminders and listening
Daily reminders are scheduled on your iPhone by iOS; no server sends them. The Listen feature uses your iPhone’s built-in voice, so the verse is read aloud on the device.
Purchases
Ayah Plus is sold through Apple’s App Store. Apple handles payment, and we never see your name, email or card details. The app checks with Apple, on your device, whether your subscription is active. Apple’s own privacy policy covers your purchase information.
This website
ayahdailyapp.com uses no cookies and no analytics. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, so Google receives your IP address when the page loads, under Google’s privacy policy. Our web host may keep standard server logs, such as IP addresses and the pages requested, to keep the site running and secure.
If you email us, we use your email only to reply to you.
Children
Ayah collects no personal information from anyone, including children.
Changes
If this policy changes, we’ll update it here and change the date at the top.
