Quran verses about provision
Rizq, provision, means everything a person receives to live: food, money, health, family, knowledge and more. The Quran describes Allah as ar-Razzaq, the Provider, and says that every creature that moves on earth depends on Him for its provision. Even animals that cannot carry their own food are fed, and He feeds people in the same way.
The Quran links provision to both trust and effort. Whoever is mindful of Allah will be provided for from where they never expected, and Mary (Maryam) tells Zechariah (Zakariyya) that her food comes from Allah, who provides without measure. Yet after the Friday prayer, believers are told to go out and seek Allah's bounty. The Quran also explains why provision differs from person to person, and how asking forgiveness and giving charity relate to it. The verses below gather these teachings.
There is no moving creature on earth but its sustenance depends on Allah. And He knows where it lives and where it rests. Everything is in a Clear Book.
Hud 11:6 There is no creature on earth whose provision is not Allah's responsibility, and He knows where it lives and where it rests.
How many a creature there is that does not carry its provision? Allah provides for them, and for you. He is the Hearer, the Knowledgeable.
Al-'Ankabut 29:60 Many creatures do not carry their own provision, yet Allah provides for them and for you.

2Once they have reached their term, either retain them honorably, or separate from them honorably. And call to witness two just people from among you, and give upright testimony for Allah. By that is exhorted whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day. And whoever fears Allah—He will make a way out for him. 3And will provide for him from where he never expected. Whoever relies on Allah—He will suffice him. Allah will accomplish His purpose. Allah has set a measure to all things.

And exhort your people to pray, and patiently adhere to it. We ask of you no sustenance, but it is We who sustain you. The good ending is that for righteousness.
Taha 20:132 The Prophet ﷺ is told to encourage his family to pray, and Allah says He asks no provision of him, but provides for him.
Then, when the prayer is concluded, disperse through the land, and seek Allah’s bounty, and remember Allah much, so that you may prosper.
Al-Jumu'ah 62:10 After the Friday prayer, believers are told to spread through the land and seek Allah's bounty.

30Your Lord expands the provision for whomever He wills, and restricts it. He is fully Informed, Observant of His servants. 31And do not kill your children for fear of poverty. We provide for them, and for you. Killing them is a grave sin.
Al-Isra 17:30–31 Allah gives generously to some and in measure to others, and people are told not to kill their children for fear of poverty, since He provides for the children and for them.
If Allah were to increase the provision to His servants, they would transgress on earth; but He sends down in precise measure whatever He wills. Surely, regarding His servants, He is Expert and Observant.

Say, “My Lord extends the provision to whomever He wills of His servants, or withholds it. Anything you spend, He will replace it. He is the Best of providers.”
Saba 34:39 Whatever a person spends, Allah replaces it, for He is the best of providers.
These verses ask for a balance: work for your living with real effort, and at the same time let go of the fear that it all depends on you. If money is tight, the Quran's suggestions are concrete: ask forgiveness, keep praying, give what you can, and trust that your share is known to the One who feeds every creature.
